Final bHangman for Commodore AMIGA 500
A downloadable game
Final bHangman is a Commodore AMIGA computer version of the popular word game called Hangman. The look of the game is inspired by the AMIGA version of the famous CAPCOM game Final Fight, particularly by its unique "continue" screen. Enjoy! It was programmed by Alberto Sgaggero on the AMIGA using AMOS BASIC.
The game is a port of the VIC20 version originally called bHangman, programmed to partake in the Hangman Challenge Game promoted by the Facebook group Retro Programmers Inside.
The objective of the game is to deduce a word chosen from a small database consisting of 160 terms emblematic of "retro-computer" and "retro-gaming" culture, thereby saving Santa Claus from an impending explosion.
How to play?
At the title screen, press the space bar. Your amazing AMIGA will think of a word for you to guess.
In the gameplay screen, select a letter from A to Z by pressing the corresponding key on your marvelous keyboard.
Is the letter in the word? Continue—you are well on your way to guessing the entire word!
Is the letter not in the word? The fuse shortens, and after just 10 errors... BOOM!
Has the letter already been chosen? Fear not! It's not a mistake, and your AMIGA will promptly inform you.
Have fun!
