International Kopicat Plus is an AMIGA version of the classic memory game SIMON, an electronic game from Milton Bradley (MB) launched in the United States in 1978, invented by Ralph Baer and Howard J. Morrison.

The game was developed by Alberto (BCO) Sgaggero for the Simon Game BASIC Programming Challenge (8Bit/16Bit), promoted by the Facebook group Retro Programmers Inside (RPI).

The game is inspired by the more famous IK+ (International Karate Plus), a masterpiece for AMIGA created by Archer Maclean, and the introductory section (as well as some other elements) of the arcade game Karate Champ by Data East (1984).

How to Play?
The game features four large square "icons" in green, red, yellow, and blue. These "icons" light up in a random sequence; each time an "icon" lights up, a specific "karate" move and sound are associated with it. Once the sequence is complete, the player must reproduce it by clicking on the "icons" (or pressing the keyboard keys associated with the icons) in the exact same order. If the player succeeds in this task, they will be presented with a new sequence, identical to the previous one but with the addition of a new move; the sequence to repeat becomes progressively longer, making the player's task more difficult.

Have fun!

Hi Alberto,

Great game indeed, congratulations! Our Amiga Vault Team is specialized in the creation/conversion of Amiga games and programs in standard WHDLoad format with specific slave, custom splash screen, hybrid icon (OldIcon+NewIcon+ColorIcon) compatible with all AmigaOS, and readme file.

As we have done with some Amiga games released in recent months (Ami-H.E.R.O, Ami Robbo 2, Frank Brush, Ghosts 'n Goblins AGA, Hop To The Top, Kondi Krush, Metro Siege, Neon World, Soko-Ban, Spheroid and Yoomp!) and as we will do for some games currently in development as soon as they are ready (Krogharr, Soltys and Street Fighter), we just converted your game into WHDLoad format (look at attached pictures below:) and would like to share it with you so that, if you wish, you can include it as an additional version for the benefit of the Amiga community: what do you think of our proposal? It would be an honor and a pleasure for us to collaborate with you, if you like our idea you can contact us on facebook (user Amiga Vault) or by email if you prefer in order to define all the details.

Best Regards

Amiga Vault Team
