The Slot-tastic AMIGA Pirate's Slot Machine for Commodore AMIGA

The Slot-tastic AMIGA Pirate's Slot Machine is an AMIGA mini-game developed by Alberto (BCO) Sgaggero in 2024 using AMOS BASIC. It was created for the Slot Machine game simulation challenge promoted by the Facebook group Retro Programmers Inside.

As you will see, this mini-game is inspired by the copy protection section of the famous game The Secret of Monkey Island, created by Ron Gilbert and published by LucasArts.

The objective of the mini-game is to collect as many coins as possible to avoid going bankrupt.

How to Play
At the title screen, press ENTER to start the game.
To insert a coin and start the slot machine, simply press ENTER.
Try to get one of the right combinations of face and location to earn pieces of eight
Press the 'S' key to see the scores table, which includes all winning combinations.
Press the 'ESC' key to exit the game at any time. You can save your remaining amount of pieces of eight if you want, and reload it the next time you play the game.
If your balance reaches zero, you’re broke, and the game is over. But don’t worry, you can start again anytime with a new credit of five pieces of eight!

- An Amiga "adf" disk image file, which you can use in any Amiga emulator or on real hardware.
- The file "captain_giacometo.mod", a ProTracker mod that is the OST of the game.
- The "ogg" Ogg Vorbis audio file of the "captain_giacometo.mod" ProTracker mod, which you can use as a ringtone for your phone or send to someone you really dislike (you'll understand why after hearing it a thousand times).
