The Slot-tastic MSX Slot Machine is an MSX BASIC mini-game developed by Alberto (BCO) Sgaggero in 2024, created for the Slot Machine game simulation challenge promoted by the Facebook group Retro Programmers Inside.

The objective of the game is to collect as many coins as possible to avoid going bankrupt.

How to Play
At the title screen, press the space bar to start the game.
To pull the lever, simply use the lever of your joystick or the down arrow key on your fabulous MSX keyboard.
A coin is automatically inserted every time you pull the lever of the slot machine.
If your balance reaches zero, you’re broke, and the game is over. But don’t worry, you can start again anytime!
Try to get one of the right combinations of symbols —visible on the screen above the slot machine— to earn coins!

Install Instructions
By clicking on "Download Now," you can obtain:

• A MSX ".dsk" image file. You can load the ".dsk" file on MSX emulators, such as OpenMSX or BlueMSX, or any other compatible emulator.
• A "wav" digitized tape file. You can use this to load the program on real MSX hardware (type the command <tt>CLOAD"SM",R</tt> and then press the RETURN key).
• Two printable cassette tape covers: black and white and color versions. You can print them and use them to create your original cassette tape.
• The source code of the program, available in both bitmap and text formats.
