VIC=REX

VIC=REX is a retro game written (badly) by Alberto (BCO) Sgaggero in BASIC V2 for the glorious Commodore VIC-20.

It is a personal reinterpretation of the Dinosaur Game.

Just like in Chrome Dino, the player controls a very pixelated Tyrannosaurus Rex running across a very white and very empty desert. 

The goal is simple: avoid the strange cacti by jumping over them. 

• Press '1' for a small jump 
• Press '2' for a jump twice as high 
• Press the space bar to start the game 

The game was originally programmed back in 2022 for a competition, but it wasn't finished in time. 

After being abandoned in a dusty folder for years, it has finally escaped into the wild!
